Oh! I never thought of showing these in my Resume!

Yes, I did make a presentation on some of the day to day tools that we use in our Project to a visiting Internal client. Or a nice training on a Technology. So, what it is my daily work, and not much of significance.
Well, if you thought like this, you ought to get ready for some surprise as do I.
As per some of the articles I have caught up recently, even a great presentation that we create in a jiffy, and present to a visiting internal or external client can be something which could be highlighted in our resume.
Yes, we need to be very sure to substantiate what we told there. For e.g- If you told about Refcursors usage in Oracle Database in a presentation, you better be good at telling what it is all about, any pros and cons, where to use them, and perhaps even the syntax.

Or if you helped in winning some client deal, say even by contributing to a RFP, it can also be substantiated.
I am not sure whether sharing an official appreciation email by the client would be suitable, but we can mention like
"Got critical client appreciation on work Xyz done on Project YYY."

And no, please do not come back, and tell me:"Hey man, you told us to mention so and so,and I still did not get that job."   :)

What is this street's name ?

This is another of my Chennai experiences. I had this experience on the street where I stayed at a guest house location till 30th September morning. The street on which I lived is called as "Neelkanda Mehta" street. However, on many homes as well as some other places, it is written as "Neelkanda Metha" street. I have asked other people too. However, I have not found a satisfactory answer.

Evolution and Creationism - My Viewpoint

Whenever someone mentions something related to Evolution ; or whether God created all Animals , Humans ;or whether it is all a play of evolutionary Process; I become very much engrossed. It is a topic in which I have a unique interest . At a personal level,I favour the Theory of Evolution . True , the theory that God created everything does has its valid points .
